WFUV, Rockwood, and Long Island this week
Hello everyone! I'm pleased as punch to announce a few wonderful things.
This Sunday, November 25, I will be on 90.7 WFUV-FM's Sunday Breakfast, hosted by legendary folk DJ John Platt. My bandmate and best pal Chris Kelly and I went up to the famed Studio A at WFUV for a dual live performance/interview with The Tres Amigos (with whom we'll be appearing at John's "On Your Radar" show at The Living Room on December 11), and we had a great time. I'd love for you to listen. The show will be broadcast live between 8 AM and 11 AM Eastern time, on terrestrial radio and on WFUV.org, and will be available to stream by Sunday afternoon. Being on WFUV has been a longtime dream of mine, and I'm walking on air that it's come true!
The next day, Monday, November 26 at 11 PM, my power trio, The Righteous Devils, will perform at Rockwood Music Hall. The show is free and we're opening for the incredible Teddy Kumpel. Rockwood's located at 196 Allen St, just south of Houston St in the Lower East Side.
On Thursday, November 29 at 8 PM, it's my debut acoustic show in Long Island - at 89 North, Patchogue - a wonderful music venue with a great roster of players. It's my first show in the region, also with Chris Kelly and the affable Bill Bell on mandolin. This show is free and it's a chance for me to shine for their bookers - so if you're in the region, I would be much obliged if you could come on by and make some noise! 89 North Ocean Ave, Patchogue.
So that's about it for now. Hope to play for you this week!
