Hi everyone! I hope you've been having a lovely holiday season. I know I have...been making lots of goodies in the kitchen, going on long walks on these crisp days...it's my favorite time of year.
If you're in NYC tonight, December 27, I'll be playing at Hill Country, the Texas-themed BBQ roadhouse and music venue at 35 W. 26th St. It's always a fun time, and I'll be joined by my friends Scott Stein., Chris Kelly, and Rob LaFalce. The show is free, and goes from 8:30 pm til about 11.
My last show of the year is also a first. On Saturday, Dec. 29, from 8 pm til 10 pm, I'll be playing at The Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts Center in Middletown, Connecticut. I'm excited to be playing in a new town (for me), and ask very kindly if you have any friends in the region, to forward them the information found here: http://www.buttonwood.org/event/jeremiah-birnbaum/
Tickets to The Buttonwood Tree show are $10. TBT is located at 605 Main Street, Middletown, CT. Call (860) 347-4957 for reservations.
I'll be taking most of January off to prepare for further touring in 2013. If you'd like to have a house concert in your home, please let me know! I'm scheduling through the end of the year and would LOVE to play for you. Regions include New England, the Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic. Give me a shout anytime - band (at) jeremiahbirnbaum (dot) com.
Cheers, and thank you for making this year a wonderful thing. I've come a long way since not being able to sing!!
(PS: Here's "Mulberry Tree", from my appearance show at the Living Room's "On Your Radar" series, hosted by John Platt of WFUV! Thanks to Gail Prusslin for the video.)
